Terms of Service

Effective Date: June 13, 2026  ·  Last Updated: June 13, 2026

The short version: Use WorkerHive to help other workers. Don't post spam, scams, or harmful content. You own what you create. We can remove accounts that violate these terms. By using WorkerHive, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the WorkerHive application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines (Section 8). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and WorkerHive (operated by Sumeet Kolindrekar, "we," "us," or "our").

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use WorkerHive. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful. Accounts created with false information may be terminated without notice.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You agree to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we believe pose a risk to the community.

4. Your Content

You own the content you post on WorkerHive — your posts, job listings, and suggestions are yours. By posting content, you grant WorkerHive a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and store that content for the purpose of operating the platform.

You represent that you have the right to post the content you submit, and that it does not infringe on anyone else's rights.

We do not claim ownership of your content. If you delete your account, your content may remain visible unless you specifically request its removal.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use WorkerHive to:

Violations of prohibited conduct may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination, at our sole discretion.

6. Subscription and Payments

Early Backer Period: Users who join during the Early Access period receive one (1) full year of free access to all WorkerHive features. No credit card is required during this period.

Pro Subscription: After the free period, continued access requires a Pro subscription at $30.00 USD per year. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice.

Refunds: Subscription payments are generally non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days at ksumeet9120@gmail.com and we will review your case.

Free tier: Users who do not subscribe after the free period may retain read-only access to the community at our discretion.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or that your continued use poses a risk to other members or the platform.

Upon termination, your access to the platform will be revoked immediately. Data deletion will follow the timeline outlined in our Privacy Policy.

8. Community Guidelines

WorkerHive is a community, and every member is responsible for keeping it a good one. These guidelines define what's expected of everyone:

Be real. Use your real trade, skills, and experience. Fake profiles and inflated credentials damage trust for everyone. Authenticity is the foundation of reputation.

Be respectful. Everyone in the hive works hard. Disagreements are fine — disrespect is not. No personal attacks, bullying, or targeted harassment. Treat others how you'd want to be treated on a job site.

Keep it relevant. Posts should relate to work, trade, gig life, income, clients, job opportunities, or community building. This isn't a general social network — keep it focused and valuable.

Be honest about pay and rates. Sharing your rates helps the whole community know their worth. Coordinating to fix prices illegally is not allowed and may have legal consequences.

Post real jobs only. Job listings must be for real, available work with honest descriptions and pay ranges. Fake listings, bait-and-switch jobs, or listings designed to collect personal information are strictly prohibited.

Warn fairly, not recklessly. Sharing experiences with difficult clients or employers helps the community — but naming individuals without clear basis can cause real harm. Be factual, be fair, and focus on patterns not vendettas.

Protect privacy. Never share personal details about clients, coworkers, or other members without their consent. What happens on the job stays on the job.

Report, don't retaliate. If you see something that violates these guidelines, report it. Don't engage, escalate, or call out violations publicly — use the report function and let us handle it.

Rep Score and violations: Serious or repeated violations may result in a rep score review, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the platform.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

WorkerHive is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not verify the accuracy of job listings, user profiles, or community posts.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WorkerHive and its founders, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of income, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to WorkerHive in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of WorkerHive after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with updated terms, you should stop using the platform and may request account deletion.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
